6 planes message received is a video performance work combining sculptural costume, movement, colour, spoken word, and sound. The work draws inspiration from Oskar Schlemmer’s Triadic Ballet (premiered in Stuttgart in 1922), a production known for its geometric costumes and experimental choreography.

Filmed as a five-minute performance with a score by musician Elijah Huckel, 6 planes message received attempts to articulate a transformative psychedelic experience. Through movement, costume, and sound, the work considers the dissolution of the individual self into a larger whole, reflecting on the space outside of the physical and the possibility of communication with the spiritual.

The work was developed over 74 hours.
