DIY POM POM
HELLO!
This is the tutorial for making affordable pom poms at home!
Hopefully, you’ve already cut out your pom pom template from the ‘let’s make a moss pom pom necklace’ booklet. You’ll need to trace it onto cardboard (old cereal boxes work great!) and cut out 2 copies.
The following tutorials will help you finish your pom pom off!

For making moss pom poms, the aim is to just cover the cardboard template. Unlike most pom pom tutorials, you don’t want a super full fluffy pom pom!
POM POM LOOM TUTORIAL
The pom pom we used during the workshop was the pom pom loom (from spotlight). The following youtube video (although in German!) does a great job with visuals, in case you need some refreshing after the workshop! Again for the moss pom pom we just want to cover the plastic loom (no excess layers) to avoid an overly fluffy pom pom.

There are so many ways to make pom poms! I particularly like this pom pom tutorial by youtuber Lyza Walters. This tutorial is more if you want a super fluffy amazing pom pom (for another craft project!)
