close your eyes
to block the sun
golden orbs seep through
lashes as warmth
touches your tongue
breathe in tall trees
who tower above
and devour your weight
in decadent custard filled,
cinnamon buns

Sugar-saturated, sun-filled days, is the heart of this poem, full of buzzing yellows and pinks, lilacs and forest green (for the trees!).  A one-off original painting (only one in the World!) for a fun, colour-seeking space  🙂
